Ambitions are wide and varied. And it’s quite a challenge to make ambitions come true without compromise. At Van Aken Architecten, ambition is the driving force behind our daily work. We would like to demonstrate to you that apparently contradictory ambitions can all be realised.

That an innovative design can be user-friendly as well. That a speedy realisation can, at the same time, save money. That our aspirations can be combined with yours.

Since its foundation in 1979, Van Aken Architecten has fulfilled many ambitions. Our extensive portfolio contains a selection of these. You will find many projects that reflect our unique vision on architecture. For example, we feel that a successful design should reflect the end user’s needs and wishes. And that interaction between people should be stimulated. Also, we feel that a building should be constructed in harmony with its surroundings.

In addition, our portfolio demonstrates that we don’t build castles in the air, but realistic and pragmatic solutions.
